New Colour Combinations, Stampin Creative Blog Hop...

New Colour Combinations, Stampin Creative Blog Hop...

Hello I am Kim Fee an Independent Demonstrator from Kent/London Borders in the U.K. welcome to my blog.

It's blog hop time with the Stampin Creative Team again and we have two more Guest Designers joining us this month Ginny Harrell and Heidi Smith can not wait to see their fabulous projects or the rest of the team for that matter!

For now though I shall walk though mine,  I chose just two colours to work with, the fab new in colours Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushell the colours seem to fit in with the Union Jack colours  with the Royal Wedding we had here in the U.K last week Oh how stunning was that wedding such a stunning Bride the now Duchess made.

I made a super simple card using the Brand New set called Rooted in Nature, and coupled this with the Brand New Die set Stitched Labels Framelits, here I used 3 of the dies from that set, the cross stitch, the Blueberry Banner, and the stitched circle.

For added textured I used Linen thread and co ordinating Lovely lipstick Ribbon, bth the Leaves image ad the sentiment come form the same Stamp set.

To finish, I flicked Wink of Stella across the white watercolour paper that was stamped, (I used watercolour paper as I was going to do a technique but that went out the window and didn't want to waste the cut piece) and then add 3 rhinestones, and Bobs ya uncle a card was born!!

Be sure to pop along the hop you wont be disappointed.
