Botanical Gardens Stampin' Up!

Hello There,

Todays creation is a Colour Challenge, at Color Throwdown CTD380 HERE

I use Basic Grey, Cherry Cobbler & Shimmery White.

I have had the Botanical Gardens bundle for a while now, and broke into it for this challenge,    I die cut the flowers and stamped the leaves skeleton onto a couple of them, smudged some Basic Grey on the edges of the flowers.

I also used the fabulous Smooshing Technique for the background and then finished that off with the tiny splats from the Timeless Textures set, the sentiment is from the Rose Wonder set!

 So here is my entry,
If you look closely you can see the skeleton leaf stamps on the small flower attached to the Large one!

Here is a closer look at the Smooshing!

If you wish to purchase this Bundle through my online store, be sure to use the current Hostess code on the right hand section to bag you a fabulous gift from me, ...

Balloon Celebration, Stampin' Up! Global Design Project #023 …..

Hello There,

Balloon Celebration, well this wasn't a stamp set I was going to buy, nope siree not for me!!

Oh my how on earth did it end up in my Stash, well I have seen lots of creations that just got me hooked!! And today I inked it up good and proper,  I love the Global Design Project Challenge Blog, there is always plenty of inspiration form some of my favourite designers….

I am entering this card into this weeks Challenge, HERE  Global Design Project #023 | Theme Challenge
                                                        which is all about BALLOONS!!!

The colours I have chosen were dictated by the DSP Pretty Petals Paper Stack I had on my desk from yesterdays card,  I had off cuts, So chose not to waste them, and there my card was born,  I dithered as to whether I should finish it with Rhinestones or Candy Dots, and Candy Dots won the day!!

I love the pretty little Flower that finishes off the Balloon, Look at the string attached to the balloon, it says let us celebrate, ah too cute!!,

                                                               I am LOVING this card…..

21 Again,…. Number of years Stampin' Up!

Hello There,

I have a a gift set to share with you today but before I do , I wanted to share an event I did today.

Today I had my very first Card and a Cuppa event,  held in Finches Cafe & Bakery in Orpington High Street,  I met some lovely ladies who really enjoyed themselves, and are looking forward to the next session, These sessions are £5 and  for that price you get to have a drink of your choice and make a beautiful card to take home,..  These sessions are great for all abilities … they are held once a month, on the first Monday of the month, I would love for you come along and craft with me,…  Here is a photo after I set up,

Today I am sharing a Gift set, to celebrate a milestone birthday.

I used the negative cut out from THIS card,  So in keeping with the colour scheme I set about making the card and a co ordinating box to hold some chocolate, The box was made using the same measures as the Santa Pants I did just before Christmas,   I used two sets, the Timeless Textures, and the stamp set Number of Years, I must need to go to spec savers today, I just noticed that the sequins are all in silver and the Sequin ribbon is in Gold, .. Ack!!

Cheerio for today, see you tomorrow, I hope, xxx
