Stampin Creative August Blog Hop - Sneak Peek SU Autumn/Winter Catalogue

Hello there it's that time again,

For the Creative Stampin Blog Hop,

You may have popped here from Mikaela and her fabulous makes if not please pop over to the craftyoinkpen HERE

We have sneak peaks for you,  from our new Winter Catty that goes live in my online shop on the 1st of Sept, and it couldn't be more fitting for the kinda weather we are having,  my sneak peak is all about Snow, whilst we are have a down pour of rain throughout the country its not that far away from snow to be honest as some of it is freezin cold bucket loads of rain, ..

For my make which happens to be my swap for the Stampin Creative Team Swap, I have used the Flurry of Wishes,  see bottom for stamp set it has a matching Punch and is in a Bundle saving 15%  so is a fabulous price. i used the smooshing technique again on shimmery card stock you can just about make out the shimmering in the smaller photo, ..

The colour ways is Marina Mist for the smooshing and Night of Navy for the snowflakes, sentiment and card stock, a bit of dazzling diamonds for more sparkle, though its not showing in the photos unfortunately, I threw on a bit of sequins and rhinestones, a very simple make quick and easy for replication of many Crimbo Cards that you may need to send in the festive season....

Hope you like my simple make, don't forget to pop over to Queen Pip to see what fabulous makes Pip has made HERE

Sneak Peak Stampin Up Among the Branches with TGIFC 15 Challenge

Yesterday my pre order of Stampin Up Winter catty arrived ,

WoooooHooooo  we are all suitably excited can you tell, this catty is amazing, and I know I can here you say, yeah yeah you always say that when a new one comes out, BUT truly you will be blown away...
Just before the box of goodies arrived I popped onto  the TGIF challenge blog and they had just uploaded the new challenge, HERE ±tgifc15

I new instantly what set I was going rip open, ha ha.... Among the Branches is not just for Christmas, Halloween or Autumn even, its for all three!!

But the colour dictated what part of the stamp set I was going to ink up....

The little baubles I inked with markers and made a shadow edge on the side of them, I did glitter the card and bag though you can barely see that perhaps later I will add some more, I used the smooshing technique again, I know I can't stop !!

Anyway lots of photos for you to see so I will stop me chatter and let you peruse!!
Oh yes just before you go we have Silver and Gold Cord in the house, oh yes baby, it's back ion a different form but its back and thats the main thing, BUT when the catty comes live you must buy it as you know the old saying,    If you don't use it you lose it!!  So I will be buying bucket loads...  Will you?

Clean and Simple ? #tgifc14 July Remix!!

Today I thought I would join in on a challenge,

I love the TGIFC here and having missed the weekly ones I thought I would catch up and do the remix,    #tgifc14 July Remix!!

which is taking two of the last four challenges and mixing them up for your make..

I chose these two challenges:

Oh my I have made a BIG mistake in my gathering of products to use,  I picked up Rich Razzleberry instead of Blackberry Bliss, arrggghhhhh!

Oh well I have made them now I will still enter them even though they don't now qualify as it's good to share, ...

I decided to do the smooch technique again, this time making the focal point a sentiment, my cards are 9.5 cm square , The happy Birthday comes from a Hostess set called Happy Birthday Everyone, the other comes from the Happy Happenings Stamp Set both from Stampin Up, stamped in Black and embossed in Clear Embossing Powder..... Two very Simple and Clean ? cards.....

Stampin Creative Blog Hop July....... featuring Stampin Up Watercolour Wings Bundle

Hello there, It's that time for a fab  blog hop again, with the  Stampin Creative Team, and by are they creative...

This months remit was Summer Lovin,  and this month we have hopped a day later on the Saturday instead of the Friday,..
You may have popped over from Emma HERE always very creative is Emma

Well what came to mind when the remit was revealed, ICE CREAM,   Neapolitan oh my that was me favourite as a child,  and Butterflies, oh soooo pretty........ Well I didn't know what to choose out of the two so I didn't,  I used both, The colours of the Ice Cream ( Soft Suede, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron)  and the Watercolour Butterflies Bundle.

I didn't use the Butterfly Stamp as I wanted to use a technique I came across on you tube called Smooching,  A technique where you squish the ink pad onto something slippy like a clear block that you use for your stamps, or perhaps white paper laminated that kind of thing, and then spritz with water, gently (not drown) and then take a piece of Acetate lay over the ink so that it grabs the ink and water and then take the acetate and lay this on your cardstock and then smooch it down with your fingers, making pretty patterns I used Stampin Up Shimmery White card so that it shimmered and held the watery ink well without buckling to much..

When I was happy with the effect I created I then die cut the large Butterfly from the Bundle , the spots were part of the stamp set, these were also stamped onto the Shimmery White, oh such Lushness!!

Please do follow the blog hop on to Eimear HERE where fab delights await you,..
