Summer Silhouettes Stampin Up set....

Hello again, Today I wanted to share a card I made for my Wednesday class held at Crayford, Summer Silhouettes is just a gorgeous set don't you think, my head is spinning with all the designs I want to make with this set!!
I used the fab die from Stampin up Oval Accent Bigz Clear,  and my favourite Framelits set Apothecary Accents,  Now this card was cased, well the layout was and the mechanics of the card, I changed the stamp set and the colours, Wild Wasabi and Perfect Plum, with very vanilla, don't they just compliment each other!!   I am really pleased with how this turned out and the girls loved it!!

I also used Stampin Up's Papillion potpourri and it's matching punch Bitty Butterfly....  The sentiment is from the perfect pairs stamp set, punch out with the modern label punch , all from Stampin Up.  I used the stamp on stamp off technique, and stamped the flowers again on a separate piece of card,  cut out and screwed up the flower and fixed them using a dimensional pad. Attached tiny brads from stampin up to the butterfly and the label, wrapped linen thread around looping through the vintage faceted buttons..
Don't forget to pop back on the 2nd when our new Stampin Up catalogue launches!!

Stampin UP training swaps

Hello my fellow crafters, it's been a real busy time in the Fee household , myself and Paul have had a few days in Ireland  what a beautiful friendly country, I had a Mega shop in Belfast city centre, oh wow some fabulous shops,  we found one that had everything from one off pieces of clothes to food, the most fantastic homemade scones, oh gosh pear and vanilla scones  they melted in our mouths...  Then it was back to blighty and down to business  Stampin Up business, we had training with my upline Natalie and there were 32 of us, and our country manager  Paula Gorry came along..  I was asked to do some projects using the new papers arriving in July in our new Stampin Up catalogue called Soho Subway...  but those I will show you on Tuesday as we are having a Stampin Stars BLOG HOP, showcasing new products Today I would like to show you my swaps that I made, I used some new colours that we have out in July, new in ours and from the colour refresh.  I also used a stamp set that I earned for free called Happy Day..  I used Stampin up's midnight muse, Summer Starfruit, Raspberry Ripple Strawberry Slush (new in colour) and Smokey Slate (colour refresh), Old Olive and Early Expresso,  stamp the medallion image from Stampin Up's Happy Day set a real cute image makes for fabulous backgrounds. And then I stamped a tag from another new set coming our way in July called Label and punched it out using a matching punch that also coming. Teamed with ribbon and linen thread I thought they made a great card. The happy days was stamped on Naturals Ivory cards stock..

The one below contained Chocolate, I made 3 of these, I wrapped the cardstock around the chocolate and made the belly band to secure it together....

Please do Pop back tomorrow I will share a gorgeous card using Stampin Up's Summer Silhouettes stamp set this set has to be a favourite at the moment....

Stampin Up retired list Stampin Stars blog hop

Welcome to the Stampin Stars retired list blog hop,  thank you for popping by if you are following the hop you would have got here via Cary's Blog HERE ,  how fab was her creation.

Today I have used several retiring items, all favourites of mine and I shall be wholly sorry to see go including the in colours that are retiring. I was inspired making the box by a make n take at our regional stampin up training at Telford last month, It uses the two tags sizzix die to create a gift box containing tiny cards, stamping the distressed dots  in whisper white ink for a pretty effect. Using the retiring in colours island indigo, calypso coral and pool party inks, ribbon (from Sale a Bration past) and card stock. Oh and not forgetting the fab linen thread for added texture. The stamp set I used is the  Stampin Up Best of everything stamp set...  How cute eh!!

Next is a note pad and gift pack, again using the same stamps as above, this time using Crumb Cake as the base card.  How cute is that birdy?

Well I hope you have enjoyed my creations as much I as I have enjoyed creating them!   We have some specials going on at Stampin up, some new never seen before here in the UK market and the best of 25 yrs stamps, miniture one of Stampin Up's best sellers!!  I will show you later to day!!
