Happy Bank hols!!


Hi all, hope your enjoying your last bank hols before crimbo!! Oh hush thy gob at the very thought, crimbo!!

I have today some cards using the new delish designs from Lili of the Valley.....

The background of these cards have been stampied using the Doodle This stamp set from Stampin up , and they have been stamped in Brocade Blue ink also from stamping up,the cardstock is brocade blue too the sentiment is a hostess gift called best yet!, which you can still achieve if you hols an SU party from now until end of sept, oor you could share you catty sround your friends an get order above £150, if you are interested just drop me a line!







The next ones are the same colours as my DT card, and using the new Jane gill sentiments from woodware..

Anyone for Anya Challenge 2



Hello again, I am back again today as promised with my DT card for Anyone for Anya, I have used Anya Fairy tink you can get her from HERE at Dies to Die for, I coloured ehr with cipics, used Basic grey papers, Ribbon, Kraft ,Always Artitoke cardstock, is stampin up, Craftworkcards Mini message, and the the fabuolous new tool from Imaginice, you get it at Craftsulove, It's a Brad maker tool, you can use your own papers to make them what a super duper tool dont you think.... I finished her off with Glamour Dust for some sparkle, a fairy has to have some sparkle!!

The challenge set this week a sketch from our lovely Dawny, oh I do sooo lurve sketches, but hey I have already told you that...lol

A Happy Sunday to ya all,

It's time for Stamp with us challenge and its Sketch time this week, I love sketches they are easy on the rbain when you dont have a lot of time to spare, a real saviour most of the time! This weeks card uses the A Rose is A Rose again, I really love this set its super gorgeous!! The use of the stampa ma jig is paramount with sets like this, it take all the hardship and effort of over stamping away in seconds!

I have used Kraft again too, I feel it has a beautiful finish and goes with absolutely every colour going!! It makes even the ugliest of colours beautiful! The desig Teamm have come up trumps again this week , super duper cards for inspiration for you all!

LOTV Sketch challenge....



Hello all, My card today is for the LOTV Challenge...

Our Challenge for the next fortnight is a brilliant sketch by our own very talented Domi. The DT have given you some great inspiration (and some sneak peeks of the new LOTV Stamps, I am pleased to tell all those who pre-ordered these stamps that they will be shipping anyday now, and if you didn't pre-order why not pop over to the Lili of the Valley Website and see the complete new range of stamps, at the most incredible price of £3.50 each). We hope you can join us this fortnight. Don't forget it is not necessary to use Lili of the Valley products on your creation.

For my card I used the gorgeous Die cuts, I have made several cards using these, which I shall show over the next few days... I love the colourways of this die cut and so therefore used my fave cardstock KRAFT, And some papers I got from Craftworkcards called Allsorts,I thought they went perfectly together... The flowers were a cheap find at Allie Pallie A POUND A BOX wow!, Awww they have all been used now, I love them...

Another week flown by, wow too fast for me.... I have forgotten to put m this post on, bought some fabulous storage units for my inkpads and Ribbons all made in wood from inkylicious, so have been rearranging my craft room, oh no what pocessed me!! When i am tidy i will show you the units...

Right now onto my card, which is using this weeks challenge a fabbi sketch by our goregous Dawny.... I kept mine rather simple , have had a busy ole week, so not much energy left... Though I do think its rather pretty, I used a gorgeous image HERE called Fairy Libby from Sally-Ann over at Digi boutique, and coloured her with copics and glamour dust for her wings... The paper I got from Craftsulove at the weekend rather funky dont ya think its from the Abbey Road range by My minds eye
The sentiment is from Stampendous...

Just Magnolia~19



Hello all, hope you all had great weather this weekend, a tad too hot for me!!

Todays card is for the Just Magnolia challenge, I sooo want to get to grips with the distressed inks, and the distressing that Kim Piggots does that I so admire!! Well I have coloured my magno;ia with the inks, and was rather pleased with my efforts, but couldn't find the courage to distress the outside incase I mucked it up, I think I will distress the outside first in future, that way i wont have wasted me time colouring it..lol

The challenge this week is a fab sketch by the equally fab Rachel, I must say I did enjoy this sketch, The cardstock is stampin up Kraft and Taken with teal.. Flowers from stash, paper is my minds eye, proberbly from Craftsulove, and you can get kraft there too! The Magnolia too!

Sugar and spice with Anyone for Anya!!



Hello again, its time for our first challenge over at Anyone for Anya,....There are some gorgeous Anyas coming out, and youu can get them at DIES TO DIE FOR, Tracey give fabulous customer service and great value for money!!

Our first challenge is Sugar and spice, all things nice!! Well my sugar is of course my Anya, and the spice is my Spiced Cider papers from Stamping up, all things nice is my nestie flower, which I was inspired to make seeing leannes (my fellow DT on Dies to Die for) flowers, I just had to case the idea, I so luv this card, and I sent it to Leanne with belated wishes for her Birthday... The sentiment are rub ons...

Receipe time at Stamp with us!



It's Sunday and its Stamp with us time, Oh I do love my stampin up!!, This weeks challenge is a receipe, one flower, one patterned paper, one coloured cardstock, three brads....

I used the gorgeous A rose is a Rose set, tiz beautiful to work with, I really love how this card came out, and I must say, I had a piccie on me head, and it turned out just so!!, wow, thats a first!! And I seem to have used a similar colouring to last weeks DT card..lol

Lazy days..............



Hello all, oh my what weather, one min it's overcast and a bit chilly, the next min, it's warm then , hot and then pow!! Windswept and rain, Phew!! all in one day....lol

Anyhows the weekend is coming up another week of school hols gone thank god!! Not many more to go..

My offering today is for the Cute card Thursday challenge, Lazy days... It were a toss up of stamps, but i think i will be doing another one of these themes, using cute House mouse stamp i got from Lillianna, Linda is selling some of her stash, link on the sidebar if your interested....

My image for this card comes from the Penny black set called Tiny Wished you can get them HERE from DIES TO DIE FOR, The papers to are from Dies to die for, The my minds eye small paper pads, bloom and grow, i think....

The sentiments are from the summer mini messages clear set from Elzybells, just perfect for the image and the CCT challenge dont you think..... Mmmmmm I am having that Lazy kinda day today myself....

Friday Sketchers with Anya....



I think I might just make this challenge, This card is for my class at Craftsulove on Saturday, I got my Anya from Dies to die for, you can also get it from Craftsulove... The papers are cloud9 design also from craftsulove, the flower was inspired aby Leanne my fellow DT, on dies to die for and were made using blossoms nesties both from Craftsulove and dies to die for, I coloured Anya in different mediums, from paper piecing and copics to Chalks.....
I just love this card, and am going to enter it into Friday Sketchers 65 challenge...

100 today!


Papertake weekly is on its 100th challenge, and all bar one of the original team are still here!! Well it's celebration time,
Because it's a special week, we don't have a sponsor as such, but we do have prizes. All the regular team girls have put together a giveaway, to say thank you to YOU for your support over the years - so next week instead of 1 winner there will be 6!!!

Stamp with us Colour Challenge....



Hello my freinds, are you having a great weekend, boy wasn't it hot yesterday... Phew!

Gonna be off to Greenwich market today, hopefully all depends on how gobby ones teenager is this morning, boy am I ready for her to go back to school!! I love greenwich on a sunday and was sooo looking forward to it have not been in a lonnnng time....

Fabulous magnolia candy...

Thats the dare over at DARE U 2 DIGI this week....

I have use Holly from Sandra dry isn't she just the cutest.... I coloured her with copics, the sentiment is a chipboard from a pack last year, the cardstock is stampin up, brocade blue and Always articoke. The ribbon is also Stampin up, mellow moss taffetta very lush! I colured the bling with copis to match the colour scheme...

I kept it very simple, so as not to draw the eye from the gorgeous image!!

Penny Black Saturday sketch...



As promised my Penny black card for which I am entering the Penny Black saturday challenge which is a sketch by Beth, and a great one too!!

This has prompted me to use one of my much neglected PB stamps, I also used a hero arts Gracious Leaves stamp for the background on the green strip at the bottom, The PB stamp I have used is Hedgehog stroll which I am sure you can get from the Glitter pot!, I coloured the hedgie in copics, and used some gorgeous Stampin up Twine ribbon in certainly celery, which you can get as part of a ribbon bundle for free when you spend £45 or more on SU products, The papers are my minds eye...

Hello my friends hope you are all well, Todays cards is using the new designs from Lili of the valley, I haven't joined in for a long time with the girls over at LOTV challenge blog, I had a very warm welcome back. This weeks challenge is So Charming, so any charms you have incorperate into your creation... Take a mooch over at the LOTV challenge blog, as ther are some gorgeous candy on offer from the new realease...

There are dies cuts and stamps, for todays card I have used Die cuts, I cut mine on the cuttlebug with a nestie, There ar e several sets in the new release including Christmas, with the most gorgeous ickle angels!!

I stamped the backgrounds and the flowers with a fluorish from Stampin up but not sire what set it is yet, will let you know!

Sketch saturday meets passion for promarkers...



Hello all I have been busy making cards, There are some superb new designs from Lili of the Valley, both in die cuts and stamps and tommorrow, I shall be showcasing a die cut design so be sure to pop by!!

Today though I am using a fabbi image from the uber talented Sally-ann at the digi boutique, this image is from the sophie range, ain't she just cute!! based on my good bloggy friends Donnas doodles daughter...., I am entering this card in two challenges, sketch saturday #63 a super duper sketch this week and passion for promarker, the colours for them is Cocoa and rose pink, i thought the doodlebug new range was just perfect for these two colours, the sentiment is a fave of mine from Amuse, and the flowers are spellbinders...

Christmas at Stamp with us!!



Hello all, isn't it hot again today!!, Hope you are enjoying your day, I have been sta in a car most of the day driving Paul to Marylebone station to catch a train to Wembley for the footies, It took me 3 hours to get home and its only an hour away in normal timescale, but why is it every summer hols, they decide to do roadworks in nearly every road in London... Phew!! It were very hot... Got ho9me for an hours kip and off I had to go again to pick them up!! Just got in, and thought I better share my Stamp with Us DT card!

The challenge at Stamp with this week is Christmas, so fairly easy allround...

For my card I used a scallop round punch and made a crimbo flower, this techinque was one I learned on my stamp with us craft weekend, isn't is gorgeous, you can learne this technique over at the Stamp with us on line classes, its not too late to join in there are PDF files to show you how to do it, and videos to on other great techinques....

Make a wish with Pollycraft.......



Oh my what wonderful weather we have in England, The weird and wonderful type!! Truly I am not sure what mother nature wants to do these days...

I have another digi card for you today, the image called Melody is utterly gorgeous, Infact stunning me thinks, the uber talented Paula of Pollycraft and has made the most stunning set of images called Sweet Dreams soon to be released, I couldn't resist using Melody I love her funkilicous Drees and beautiful face!

I have entered this card in two challenges, the first being Sketch and stash which is being sponsered by Pollycrafts this week, My new items are Melody, Quickutz embossing folders, large dots and little dots from Craftsulove and Cute card Thursday the remit being Tealy good, use Teal and red on your card, well I have used stampin ups cardstock, ribbon and papers in Rose red and Taken with teal cardstock...

SCSC#43 COPICS COLOUR Challenge.....




Hello all,
I am back with another creation, using two challenges again, wow a first for me!! I am loving joining in the challenge blogs, making cards just for fun and not for classes and such!

My card uses this weeks Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge, and the challenge this week is a sketch made by the talented Jill, (hello Jill) and also for Copic Colour challenge using the following colours, ..

I have used Gingersnaps Celebrate stamp from DIES TO DIE FOR you get six images and 3 sentiment in a tin! Three of the images are girlies, and cute one too!

I used stampin up Tea Party papers and co ordinating cardstock, Brocade blue grosgrain also stampin up and linen thread... The sentiment i used on this card is an A muse one...
