Lifes a beach!!

It is with a heavy heart i write this post, It's Day one of Elzybells new realeases for the summer, I have been given one clear set and a single to work with and boy they are just the cutest, but my heavy heart can't find my mojo,

This is my last release with Elzybells, my time with elzy has come to an end and though i knew it were only gonna be for a year, some have been kept on and some have been let go, and I am one of the latter!!! Though i shall continue to showcase my Elzybells creations as you know my love for them....

Anyway I think this card and theme sums up how I am feeling at the moment.... It's a simple card as you I am a simple girl, I have used stamps from the clear mini messages set called At the beach, and this co ordinates perfectly with all the new stamps on this release, there are 5 clear sets on of which is sentiments, and four new girls and boys with a couple of small images to co ordinate... I can't wait to see what the girls have come up with, Elizabeth and the girls are mega excited about this release.....

Anyway onto my card, I made a small 4 x 4 card as I think the mini messages sets lend theirselves to smaller cards, I coloured with Prisma pencils and OMS, Which is now stocked at Craftsulove!!! The cardstock is Kraft, Old Olive and chocolate chip from Stampin up....

  2. This card is lovely, very simple and to the point. I like the colours a lot, they are a bit different from all the OTT summery colours you see. I can understand you must feel sad today but we all look forward to still seeing more of your lovely cards whichever stamps you use! Hope you feel a bit happier soon :-)

  4. Kim, it's a lovely card and i like it:)although it isn't up to your usual standard and seems as you know me so well you do appreciate my honesty.

Well you know I am so upset at ya going from Elzybells.....to me YOU'RE THE ELZYBELLS GIRL,a lawys have been and always will be. I hardly ever look at the other elzybells DT members cards but i have always been so inspred by your gorgeous creations and i for one will miss your sneak peaks etc and so will many others too..AND you will be a great loss to Elzybells thats for sure. Not easy having to pick amongst a team which ones to go and which ones to keep but i say keep em all or get rid of them all...it's the only fair way and i think getting rid of you was the WRONG choice!

BIG hugs to ya darl, remember girly as one door closes....:)

  13. Hi Kim, it's so sad this is your last release I have taken lots of inspiration from your cards and the Elzybelles stamps. Your sadness reflects in this card but again, another brilliant card xxx
