Challenge 9 spoonful of sugar

Another fab sketch by the talented Katharina over at a spoonful of sugar
Well am not sure I likes this card, I wanted to use the basic grey scarletts letter I soooo lurve this range, I am mega gutted they are disconinuing it so I here!! well I hopes it's not true coz it's gorgeous.....

Anyhoos I decided that the image for this sugar nellie challenge was Claudia the artist, I coloured her with Koh-i- noor pencils and sansador which hopefully Puala at Craftsulove is going to get in for her fabby shop... They are to die for to work with, fabulous colours.... As you can see I have used three cuttlebug embossing folders, the swiss dots, the new birdy scroll one and the distressed one, the sentiment is a rub on by crate from craftsulove.. and of course me nesties...

Christmas Kisses at Papertake weekly.....

The theme at Papertake weekly this week is christmas..... Ohhhh this was usre hard when is sweltering, lol Anyhoos I wanted to use me Sugar Nellie christmas stamps, This image is called Christmas Kisses, and how spookily I finds a craftwork cards mini message that says just that!!!! I coloured image with watercolour pencils, I also used an Acetate card blank, stamped it with Berry vine stamp from impression obsession in white Stazon, cut out image using me nesties, and then scalloped some beautiful papers by Deja views flurries and frosty collection from the card studio, and then attached some red bazzill to the inside of card...... A very simple card from me as it's far too hot to be too creative for me!!! lol I am melting I don't know about anyone else living in england, but this is not nice heat, there is no air about....

Don't forget to check out what the rest of the design team made HERE , they are scrummy!!!!

Yipppeeeee!!!!!!!! Elzybells madness.......edited list of DT members

Well have ya guessed or have ya been on Elzybells Blog....

I have made the first Design Team, and am very pleased to see that my good friends and fellow papertake weekly designers Dawn Wheeler and Stephanie Mayne have made it too.... well done girls !!! Yippeeee isn't it great....

Well I have had a fabulous year craft wise and one I shall never ever forget and will be truly humbled by it for the rest of me life........

I always thought that my cards were a little too simple, I am not an in yer face girl when it comes to creating, I'm not sure what ya call my style, I call it plain and simple!!! I always feel that less is more, I always worry if it's good enough and I never sit on me laurels, there are many crafters I truly admire, and always wished I were as good as them and now I have achieved my ultimate goal in crafting and thats to see me creations in print,I am sooo glad that I entered the competition now, I divered for so many years to do so and glad that I took the plunge, I am not one for badgering peeps or punting me creations, I get a little embarrassed by it all, I did it once and was flatly refused in not a nice way either and that kinda put me off, oh I knew she like my stuff she couldn't take her eyes of them, but perhaps I wasn't for her... but nevertheless her lack of tact hurt me very much and I swore to myself I shall never go down that road again.... and through this competition well it has opened up worlds I only dreamed of, it bought the people to me, and I can't explain the feeling of that, it's too overwhelming....

Elzybells was the first card comp I had ever won , and what a feeling too, to see my card on the net, and to win some super duper stamps to boot, well it made my day in more ways than one... and now to have been picked for the design team has topped my year off completely, those that know me personally will know of the struggle i have had for the past six years, how I have got through them sanely I will never know, but I will say crafting has helped me in the biggest way possible, from creating right through to the good friends ya meet....

So A GREAT BIG THANKS TO ELIZABETH AND TO YOU ALL MY FRIENDS YOU ALL ROCK!!!!

Decoupaging with Sarah Kay.......

At Craftsulove today I demoed the gorgeous Sarah Kay stamps, I know, I know I promised a sneak peak in the week, but unfortunately fell down the stairs last Saturday and broke me a toe, and injured me arm, so weren't in the mood for stamping , or even card making, me toe has been all the colours of the rainbow each day till today hardly any bruise at all, and it didn't help Ickle Stamford whose not so ickle now came bounding over to see me and trod on it.... Ohhhee I nearly fainted,... anyhoos I digressed there sorry....

I made a few cards whilst there and two at home, but the piccies I took there haven't come out so can only show two today, Paula will upload some to the Craftsulove blog in the week.....

I stamped different patterned paper from the paper company, then 3d the images, The first one, I only decoupaged the out fit the girl is wearing and the bike I water coloured..... The second one I decoupaged totally.. Moulding the cut pieces using an embossing tool..... Unfortunately you can't see the beauty of the 3d effect in these photos, But I am back there next Saturday demoing again on their Birthday Bash, with a fabulous array of designers which include StampinCaz, Wendy Horrod, Helen meighan and Paula Pascal it's gonna be a fab day out with a free goodie bag if ya spend over £10.00, so why not pop over, you won't regret it.....

I would like to say BIG thanks to Julia Antunes and her gorgeous Daughter Chloe, Wendy Horrod and Junie Moon for coming to see me, I had a real fab time, Thanks to Tracy and Heidi too for all their help....

all the items used comes from craftsulove,

The Great Outdoors!!!!

Over at Cute Card Thursday the theme is as the titles says, The great outdoors, well I have made two cards, I love this pop up technique I first saw on Dawns stamping thoughts, and seeing a card that Wendy Horrod had done at craftsulove reminded me that I wanted make one,

The first card is using Gardenia Gardenthumb (I keep calling her Felicity as in kendall the Tv seris The good life, she just reminds me of her)lol...

anyhows this stamp come from Stampingbella, The sentiment is from Elzybells, am loving Elzybells new stamps, I just keep buying!!!, it comes in a set of three and very good value too in a choice of mounted or unmounted now!!! And yes ya guessed it, that Magenta stamp, don't it go with just about anything girly!!!!

The second card is using Elzybells football friends, not sure at the mo what it;s called, and again the sentiment stamp, the football is a funstamps, and the football sentiment is one I had specially made on ebay a while back...
