Stampin Creative Blog Hop Stampin Up On Trend

Welcome to another Stampin Creative Blog Hop,  It starts this month with myself though you may have arrived here from  the lovely Gina one our new team members HERE.

This months remit is On Trend,  Stampin Up have certainly pushed the boat out on that one,  there are flamingos everywhere, and whilst I love the Flamingo Stamp Set I have decided to go with what has caught my eye over the last month or so, and thats the in colours, I have daily seen on my travels , Emerald Envy and Dapper Denim, and I have taken my inspiration from this notebook in  my local Sainsbury's , I KNEW instantly what I wanted to make when I spotted it...

I have used two sets for my makes but only the Sentiments from one of them which is from the Floral Phrases Stamped in Basic Black,  the splats from Timeless Textures  the rest was stamped using the Penned & Painted using the Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy and Smokey Slate, the DSP is from the  Incolour paper stack...

This card I used the Three Steps of stamps using the same pad but using the 2nd Generation Technique,

This card I just used the 1st and 2nd step of the Three Steps

Well I hope you enjoyed my On Trend Inspiration, I would love to have your thoughts on them so please do leave me a comment before you hop of to the rest of the Blog Hop...

WOW! Well that was the week that was...... Guess who came to Stamp with us #imbringingbirthdaysback

I have had the best week ever in a very long time, It's rather surreal to be honest.. There has been so much fun and amazing moments that I will have to spread over a couple of posts but I can tell you it ended with Stampin' Up Onstage,  New Catalogue WOWZERS!! TRULY WOWZERS!!

Well where shall I start right at the beginning I think,  It started on Monday at my regular Card and a Cuppa sessions at Finches Bakery Cafe in Orpington High Street,  Every 2nd and 4th Monday of each month between 10am and 12pm, it's a drop in session where you come and take a quick card and have a drink of your choice all for £5, it's getting very popular, hence moving from once a month to twice a month...     Anyways whilst we were finished with the session the Ladies and I were chatting crafts as you do, when a kerfuffle outside was happing,   Oooooh I said what on earths going on out there,   Well the Ladies were cock a hoop when who was outside, actually came in and asked me to ask him to come up to the section where we craft at the back of the Cafe.  Shall I show you who came to stamp with us.

Boris handing out his leaflets for voting in the new Mayor of London

Then me sucking up the courage to ask him to stamp with us

He was very impressed with our display, and very interested in what we were doing....

How amazing was that, he is Larger than Life an amazing sport, and whilst I was nervous to ask him  after all the photos were done with the Ladies would he come Stamp with us he was right up for it!!

Big thanks to my downline and fabulous Friend Linda Kasparian for taking photos and a little video which I will share tomorrow,,,

Do pop backI have creative swaps to share, team gifts to share and Onstage photos to share.

Hello Honey Just for you #StampinUp

    Hello There,
I wanted to share another simple creation today, I have had funny kinda week last week, I went up for a day to a fellow Demo and Friend Julie Kettlewell and had a fab day in her wonderful Craft Den that she has just opened, its a fabulous Dream to have and she has just made hers come true, So I wanted to support her and take a class with her  up in Leeds.

Myself and my Team me member and Great Friend Linda Kasparian took the trip up there, we done it in one day, phew what a day,,,  It was amazing so Thanks Julie for having us and Thanks Linda for coming and keeping me company, love ya both…

But when I got back I was slammed in the face with a rotten head cold AGAIN, It's knocked me for six I have to say, not been out since we got back from Leeds, But needed to get some makes done for Blog Hop Saturday gone, and for the blog this week, I am trying to be more consistent,   It's hard with the life I have , but Life is hard for everyone, ..

So what did I make I hear you say,

Well with the notecards still sitting on the table, and the scraps lying there keeping them company and some flowers and leaves I stamped and cut at Julie's I set about making this Just For You card..  I love to screw my flowers up , I feel it brings them to life, adds a bit of much needed Texture too…

The Stamp set is from the Watercolour Words Stamp Set..  The Colours are Hello Honey, hence the title and Mint Macaron,  the strip of Black & White DSP is from the Everyday Chic  DSP Pack and the Enamel Dots are form the Party suite in the Spring Catty,

Do pop back very soon I have some beauties to share from a recent all day class I had this week...

Stampin Creative March Blog Hop - Lovely Layout Theme, #StampinUp #WatercolorWords

    Hello There,

It's that time again, when the Stampin Creative Team Blog Hop is on the go,  and this weeks them is a Sketch Layout,   you may have arrived HERE via,  Emma Goddard with her fabulous creations,

Well Sketches are open to all sorts of interpretations, and I for one love to see how others interpret a sketch differently to me,. and today is no different, this sketch was designed by our very own Queen Pip, and what a fabbie sketch it is too, …

Being totally full of a head cold again, I needed to keep it simple as my brain is not up for anything other than simple I am afraid, and I kinda cased my last card too,
I have used the same colours as the last post, Basic Black and Bermuda Bay purely due to them being on the table, and using scraps which are perfect for the Stampin Up Note Cards…  The DSP this time though is from the Annual catty called Everyday Chic, the sentiment is from the  Stampin UP Stamp Set called Watercolour Words.

Don't forgot to pop over to  HERE to see Lesley Lendon and her equally fabulous Creations…

#Picture Perfect Doodling Training Swaps, #Stampin' Up!

    Hello There,

Yesterday  I went to my Upline's Team Training, and as always at a Stampin Up! Event we swap creations , Mine was a card, and I had to make 27 of them.

I wanted to use the Beautiful often overlooked Picture Perfect Stamp Set,   This is a seriously fab Stamp Set, That can be used to give both a traditional and Modern twist look, …

Last week I went to meet up with two fab friends I met through Stampin up, and we did a periscope video on making a card using this set, and Elaine aka Papercraft Button went home and made a few more designs and made them look contemporary with doodling on them , I thought they looked fab.

So used this technique on my card, I wanted to make it clean looking with a pop of colour so used the 6x6 DSP pad called Go Wild, and chose to work with the Black n White design, and popped it with Costal Cabana…

The inks use on the 3 step flower was, 1, Soft Sky, 2, Pool Party, 3, Costal Cabana, the leaves i did just 2 steps and those colours were 1, Pear Pizzaz, 2, Cucumber Crush.

The sentiment was from the One Big Meaning Stamp Set….
