Well for my card today I have cased THIS superb card by the very talented Andrea Walford, I absolutely fell in love with it when i saw it, I just love the colours and the image is just gorgeous, Andreas cards are always so well put together, simply perfect... Well Andrea I hope you don't mind me casing your gorgeous card!!

Charming Magnolia..

Hello All , oh my from Ice cream weather to hot porridge weather, having to walk the dog in big wellies I am.... we had another thunder storm early evening last night Hailsones galore and me poor garden brollie has not survived... Oh well not moaning, i was getting too hot, but wouldn't it be nice for somewhere inbetween, but alas here in England its all or nothing!! oh well never mind...

Well today scard is for the Just Magnolia challenge, I don't have many new one, just the watering can, so must remedy that, i don't seem to have any sentiments, mmm deffo got to remdey that one..

anyhoos, I used the rose maganolia, and i have tried the Kim Piggott way , i say tried, I have done this twice the foirst effort was yuk! bigtime....lol i will show you my embarrassing effort, poor little thing looks like she has fallen over in the park, and bruised her face... I have used distressed inks and pads, and have distressed the edges, using Kim's tutorial as a guide, but theres nothing like seeing it in real life which i were lucky enough to do so... This weeks challengeover at Just magnolia is CHARMING! To use charme on your cards... The papers are 7 gypsies...

My Favorite things..........

The theme at Papertake weekly this week is sponsered by MFT (My Favourite things) and the them is just that your favourite things, well I have used a MFT clear set of stamps which is available from MFT & Dies to die for.. It's called Hey Chica! I have used a sketch from the MFT members section on the splitcoast forum and is a sketch by Frances Bryne its sketch no MFTSC82, A fab one to work with I used daisy bucket papers playful petals range , called libby also from Tracey at Dies to die for, the image is coloured using none other than copics....

Wow what weather we are having today it's terror!! gale force winds took my garden umbrella for a spin round the garden, and then the heavens had the cheek to throw ice everywhere, and that was after some fabulous hot sun, all in one day...

I had a fabulous weekend, i went to a fellow stampin up demo's house for a showbox swap and had a great time with 7 other demo's we made a load of smashing creations, and the food was to die for, so thannkyou ladies for a wonderful day saturday, and a big thankyou to Shaz for being host!! I shall pop on some piccies at some point to show you what we made.. Craftmaiden has a terrible piccie of me that day on her blog, blog in side bar....

Stamp with us -Childrens celebrations!

Hello my fellow crafters, are you all enjoying being scorched!! Wayyyyy too hot for me!!,... even at 7am walking the dogs, phewww!! it's hot!


Well onto my creation, My Stamp with us DT card, I am rather pleased wit it I must say, I used Kraft and chocolate cardstock, chocolate chip Grosgrain, chocolate chip inkpad, Spiral punch, chalks and white gel pen to highlight and the image is from the rather gorgeous Summer by the Sea set!! ALL FROM STAMPIN UP ALL you can get through myself!! The sentiment however is an Amuse one, one of my faves I have to say! And I thought it went perfectly with this image... I distressed the edged of the image...

Well after what started a fab day yesterday and turned into a real rotten one by the afternoon, I am feeling more on top of the world now! Despite the soaring heat!! Reminds me of it ain't half hot mum...lol oh how i loved that programme!! They don't make comedy like that anymore.....

Anyway it's Friday and it dare you to digi day, and the dare is embossing, be it wet or dry...

I picked Dry, I embossed around the edge of card blank, embossed the nestie frame and embossed the flowers, I have use I know Rosabella again, which you can get from Sandra dry designs, my daughter luvs her and I made this for her bedroom,... I used stampin up papers sweet always and my folwers were inspired by the fabulous Kim Piggott, the image coloured with copics and background with chalks!!

Have ya melted away!! Oh I nearly have, I really find it hard in this weather and the poor dogs, they are sitting underneath the air conditioner bless em!! well today I will have two cards to show, first up today is my Elyzbells c
DT card the theme this challenge was to use the colours of your country's flag... The image and sentiment is from the From me to Ewe clear set, too cute this one... Sorry but not sure where the papers are from or called, I used felt ribbon from stash, I paper pieced the jumper on the sheep, and coloured the rest with copics... I used the sketch from this weeks PTW, By the fabbi Dawny P....







Second card up is a Friday sketchers card, another fabulous sketch...

I had to make a card for a friend whose son and his wife are expecting!! I used Kraft cardstock and so safrron desonger papers from Stampin up, I colooured the image and one of the flowers in copics and made the flowers using the large retro punch, from craftsulove and tied twill (also Stampin up)through the buttons, and of course nesties... I really love this colour combo, and the fabbi flowers...

Stamp with us! Sketch challenge

Hello all, Hope you re all getting the fabulous if not, stifling hot weather, not one to complain, but wow tiz too hot for me, not coping very well with it... Would help if we could have back door open , but hey the next door nrighbour is not having the fence fixed till next week...

The last debalce was Tillie (piccie in sidebar sitting by me on the stairs)and Stamford, got out and went on walkabout for 40 horrifying minutes, Stan came back first with a gash on his head, I felt sick to me pit I tell you!! and Tillie well no where to be seen, me I had cut me leg whilst climbing over everyones fenches looking for them, got to the door stan wa sthere, no tillie yet, then a phone call the vets, uh i nearly wet meself, they had her, Thank God and a kind lady whoever she is, she didn't leave any details, Tillie had followed her up the road, big main one too!! and she led her to the vets, my local one too, and of course they are both chipped, but i need to get a tag each now, she was fine and being made a big fuss of, but stunk to high heaven with foxes do doo, yuk!!


Well I need the fencing done and They better hurry up as I am looking forward to my Stamp With Us retreat weekend, oh my what a blast I KNOW thats gonna be!! Which leads me on to Stamp With Us challenge this week, and I am beind with all my DT work, so my heartfelt apologies to all teams, I am getting there, and I have lots to show you all too...

Thios week there is a prize too free on line classes, and let me tell you, they are superb! Every single class was an inspiration and the chatter well you have to come and join in to see, what a blast fel off me chair a fair few times with laughter ( note to oneself to get a proper leather chair)...

Hello all

I am going to remove my followers gadet , as a fair few poeple can not access my blog, I wondered why my stats were plumetting!! Apparaently blogger is trying to fix this and have suggeseted that we move our gadet further down the page and if this is not working delete altogether...

So I wanted to pre warn people that I am going to do this incase anyone wanted to bookmark my blog, or was just waiting on an update and were not visiting as they thought I weren't updating....

I am also having a few problems, the screen freezes every few minutes and is driving me bonkers, I am contemplating going with typepad and have set one up but not had time to do anything on there!!

Hello all well what a week one i don't want to repeat in a hurry for sure!!

It's Digi dare day and this weeks dare is to use a sketch by yours truly!! I stressed bigtime about how I were gonna fit everything in this week, what with people making short notice appointments to come service several contraptions in the house that Paul has to have just to by in life, why is it they all want to do the same time and day,at a drop of a hat then get huffy if you can't do the time they want!! cheeky so n so's, oh does make me mad!!

anyways I digrest, for my card I used stampin up tea party papers, Old Olive cardstock, fabulouss buttons from craftsulove, sentiment in from Stampin ups Big bold birthday set, and the image is Sitting Rosabella by Sandra Dry, coloured with copics and finished with Glamour dust...

Cupcake Craft Challenge sketch 45

My final peaks are using the Thankyou for clear sentiments set, having been inspired by Two of my DT buddies Charlene and Michelle, I decided to make some long over due thankyou cards...

The papers are so saffron desinger seris from Stampin up , as is the grosgrain striped ribbon, and Kfrat cardstock, flowers and brads from stash, the sentiments are from the new elzybells thankyou for set, and are cut using the spelbinders tag dies from dies to die for...

Hello all I am back with another card this time my DT card for Papertake weekly, The theme is as the title Delightful downloads, you can use anything as long as there is one download on your card, be it an image, a sentiment or papers!!

well onto my card I have used the wonderful Olive, Oh I do lurve her to bits.... I love this image of her, so mischievous don't you think.... I have also used Last week PTW sketch by our gorgeous Dawny, the papers are my minds eye from carftsulove, and the sentiment is a fave of mine from Elzybells, though not sure you can see it on piccie... I coloured Olive in copics....and the brad at te top is from Stampin up though I were a little heavy handed with me cropadile and squashed it too much!!

Stamp something with Elyzbells!

Day Two, Another sneak peak, I am sooo loving these dinkies so much that can be made with them.... Can you wait till tommorrow for the final sneak peaks and launch day!!

Todays first card is for the stamp something challenge, The them Black. white and one other colour! I made this card before I blog hopped over to stamp something and thought blimey I have just the card...lol My card is very simple and understated, well I thknk anyway, I love the clean crisp boldnes of it!! I coloured the images with coloursoft and prisma pencils and blended with OMS.... I punched out the dress using Stampin up circle and scaloped circle punches.... I plan to have another sneak peak later today be sure to pop back!! Oh and have you entered my ELZYBELLS BLOG CANDY GIVEAWAY, IF NOT WHY NOT!! Take a gander over HERE toot sweet and have a go!!

Next up is a cute ickle set for a special little Girlie, who has not received this yet!! In the little baggie is some fabulous chocolates in shapes of nail varnish , compact mirror, lipstick and perfume, wow how fab is that!! They are originally hannah monata choccies but i thought they looked fab with this set as soon as me stamps arrived... I have used sweet always papers from Stampin up, coloured image in copics ... the image is from the Pamper yourself dinkies set and the sentiment is from the new Thankyou for clear set of sentiments, I made the card blankl from the labels nesties, i love these 4 inch cards don't you, They show the dinkies off perfectly.....

With some serious RETAIL THERAPY! (elyzbells sneak peaks)

Well hello all its been a long time!! Blimey time has flown by, It's a rather stressy week for me, after classes and mag work, my little fella Stan, got hold of my craft bag and chewed it to bits and all that were in it including my Stamp with us DT card, oh no no time to make another!! I did one in th end but i think my mojo was zapped by my sadness of my dinkie craft bag and stash, My fabby elzybells hand made by fairy was amongst them , he chewed the stamp right off the wooden block, I was however able to salvage the rubber so will remount, but my ink pads and tombows nope! A brand new watercolour brush, now I had two one cost just over a ound and the other a fiver, Hmmm, what one does he chew, yep the fiver one, oh lordy not even used it only bought it last week.. Some of my Copics were in there too but he must have Known that would have been just too much for me to cope with!!

And all because i left him to go to dinner at my SIL, Oh my why oh why did I forget to put me bag away! I knew i should have put him in his little house, as earlier that day when i took Paul to club, he munched his way through SIX bags of wotsits, and he could not deny it and blame ickle tillie coz he had cheesy breath!!


Well on to my Sneak peak are you ready for some serous retail therapy oh I am thats for sure!!

I am so so excited about this release as Elizabeth has answered my many calls to design more Dinkies!! Oh I am in heaven I tell you, though on release day I am in there for the rest of the new designs, I just have to have them I need pampering I do really I do!!

For my cards, oh yep I have two to show you, I have used some superliocus design papers from Craftsulove with matching bazzill, My minds eye, pretty please range..

For my first card I have followed a sketch from Sketch and Stash, I have used new papers, and of course my new dinkies stamps,for my new stash!! I coloured this one in with primas and koh-i-noor pencils and OMS which the later two you can purchase from Elzybells....the sentiment is part of the dinkies set.... Everythingelse can be purchased from Craftsulove...


For my second card, I used the same papers, and a differnt dinkies Set, This time I coloured with copics and paper peiced her dress, Now I have this stamp in the larger size, But this dinlie s a real must for co ordingating, or those smaller cards, they are just so mega cute!! I made my card blank from nesties, do you likey...

Well I am mega late with my DT card for DARE U 2 DIGI so aplogises in abundance to my fellow DT's.... The Dare this week is yep you guessed it Chocolate orange colour scheme.. For my card I used a fabulous digi image that the uber talented Sandra Dry has designed a great one for little girlie and big girlie to make for their Daddies,You can get it HERE, I have kept it more simple than normally, I cut slivers of cardstock to thread through the buttons, coloured the image with Stampin up markersto match the papers and cardstock and copics just for the flesh....

That Little Pink Slipper!!

Oh those were the days when you dressed up as cinders!! Never thought one day I would become her!! lol

It Papertake weekly time and the theme is Shoes, now whilst I had in my mind what i wanted to do which was a very pretty shoe by obession impression, i couldn't find the stamp!! And whilst looking for it, this messy rabbit set kept looking at me!!, and shouting ink me up priddy please!! So I did.... I got this fabbi cute stamp set as a thankyou gift from Sara at Crafters companion Thanks Loads Sara!, Sara has the whole range of them so many to choose from and a terrific customer service too! I also used some priddy paper from papermaina, i think you can get them at craftsulove.... the sentiment is from Whiff of joy!! And fairy is coloured with copics... I also used a technique called out of bounds with nesties, where the image comes over the edge of the nestie and remains intact, Rachel of papercrafts by Rach has sone a fabbie tutorial to follow if you want to give it a try...... Rachels link to her blog is on the right sidebar under cards by rach... be prepared to be amazed when you visit if you have not before! I used a sketch from mojo monday, i think it were last weeks sketch..

Hello all, oh my how the weather has changed... though it didn't spoil me weekend coz I didn't allow it too.... I went to craft barn on saturday to see the demo's they were fab, it were very packed, so squashed in where i could, didn't see all of them, but made sure I saw my fellow DT's from dare u 2 digi, Chris Dark and sandra dry as always they both had stunning creations on their tables, I sat for a while watching Chris colour with the distressed inks, and was waiting with baited breath for Chris to get to doing that unique background that she does, oh my its fabulous.... and got some tips from sandra for coloursofts so thankyou ladies....

I did come home and try Chris' technique and didn't do too well I am afraid, but hey it all comes with practice!!

Right onto todays card its for a new challenge blog called Stampin for the weekend, and I found it on the fabulous Suzy q's blog, do pop over to Suzy, there is a fabaulous array of inspiration going on there....

The challenge is a colour one, Yellow and purple! The image stamp i used is Fairy Chole you can get her HERE from Dies to die for, I coloured her in copics and finished her with glamour dust, the sentiment is from the Enchanted lily stamps by pink cat also from Dies to die for.. I used Stampin up Lovely lilac cardstock and So saffron designer seris papers, I cut slivers of the lilac cardstock and threadled it through the buttons....

Dare u 2 Digi Ribbon Challenge....

Hello all, its the end of the week and a little cooler here, Oh without sounding too ungrateful it were getting too hot for me!! Got more of the Garden done yesterday whilst it were cooler with the help of my Dad and step mum Vicky, don't know where i would be without them... We laid sand and cobbles in the gaps that were left after paving, to make features, for the first time in twenty years I have a garden that's half nice!!, I say half as we have done the first half of our garden , with patio, decking and paving the other half still looks like a jungle,with more wildlife than celeb get me out of here!! I have a fair size garden, and its hard work just for one!! I wanted less maintaince, so slabs were the only way... Oh my bones ache, and theres still more to do!!

Hello all, It's Papertake weekly time, another fabby sketch from our gorgeous Dawny, i do luv Dawny's sketches.... I have used enchanted lilly from DIES TO DIE FOR.... I have a few more to share, have been making them as I nurse!! My poor baby Stamford has had his wotsits chopped!! Oh my what a kurfuffle he made at the vets, was supposed to pick him up at 2pm today left him there at 8am this morn, ... well as soon as he came round he screetched the place down, they ask me come get him as he were setting off all the other animals, oh my I could hear him on the phone, I panicked, as he sounded like a foghorn in distress!! He were being most naughty the vet said...lol Thats' Stamford alright..lol well as soon as i got there, he shut his gob firmly tight... they said he were missing me...lol That he started that racket as soon as I left...oh noooo their poor ear drums... Even the receptionists were laughing... apparently Staffies do that .... Oooopps!!

Well he has slept most of the day, and is cold so have to keep him warm, when he got up for food he fell over bless him...

Anyways I digrest, heres me card...

Elzybells birthday celebrations!!

Can you believe it's been a whole year since Elizabeth started the Elzybells blog?! The blog turns ONE this month and the online shop was also launched in June last year so it's really a double whamy birthday - Elizabeth thinks this calls for a HUGE celebration don't you?!!
