Pop of Petals not just for Summer, Stampin Up!

Pop of Petals

Not just for Summer, Stampin Up!

Hello Crafters,

Today I want to share with you a Christmas card, Yes I know it's only June!!  I have in my hands the fabulous new bundle Pop of Petals , the bundle consists of a stamp set and a punch!

When I first saw this set I thought Yayyyy a Poinsettia and I have been itching to make some.

I will admit to having used a couple of sets here, the sentiment is from the Itty Bitty Greetings, and the Filligree shape the flower is set on is from the Stitched all round bundle, which I am using for my all day Crafternoon Tea event at the end of June and middle of July, a couple of spaces left if you wish to come along, you receive the Stitched all round bundle to take home and keep plus a fabulous light lunch and cake, yum yum!!

Just give me a shout if you want to come along, my classes are always fun!

Anyway back to the card, I stamped the flowers in Real Red, and then with a dauber inked the edges with Cherry Cobbler, the Leaves are stamped in Shaded Spruce and they two are flowers but a section cut off, to make them look like leaves.

Two flowers are adhere together using a glue dot but before I stuck them together I added some Gold thread in-between them. I added a Faceted Gold Gem to the centre of the flower,   I then popped the flowers up on a dimensional onto of some mini gold sequin ribbon and adhered to the filigree die cut from Stitched all round.

I embossed a piece of Cherry Cobbler using the Quilt Top Embossing Folder.  I attached this to a shimmery White Card blank, and finished it all off with some splats of Wink of Stella,

Thank you for popping by

Eclipse Technique Father's Day Card.. CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

Eclipse Technique Father's Day Card..

  CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

Hello Crafters,

At the weekend I happened across a challenge blog, called CAS-ual Fridays and since I am aiming to get more consistent with my blogging I thought I would play along, with their challenge this week called CFC#201 Boys of Summer you can join in HERE.

I thought I would enter the card I made for My Dad for Father's Day.  I used the fab Stampin up! Lilypad Lake Stamp Set (146496) and used the same technique as this card HERE .

Using the Blueberry Bushel ink pad I gave the bottom half of the card mat a watercolour wash, onto Shimmery White Card and then stamped the squiggly lines from the same ink pad.

I used the Eclipse Technique for the word Dad using the Large Letter Thinlits dies, adhering with dimensionals and then cut out using the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies the wordAmazing in Gold Mirri card, and You in Shimmery White, and then I adhered this to Blueberry Bushel Card Stock.

Linen Thread and a scatter of Sequins finish the card off perfectly.

Thank you for popping by

Love what You do.... Stampin up! CAS(E) this Sketch #275

Love what you do, Share what you love....    Stampin up!   CAS(E) this Sketch #275

Hey Crafters How are you doing?

Are you liking the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue,  there is lots and lots to share and my wish list gets bigger each time I look at it, which is most days!!

Today's card is for another challenge this time over at CAS(E) this Sketch #275 HERE and again I have made this card for my fabulous Upline and Friend Natalie whose birthday is this week too!

I decided to use the Love what You Do  Stamp Set (148042) and the Share What You love Specialty Designer Series Paper, ( 146926) which I haven't yet used and the paper is stunning I have to say!

I used this set as Natalie has been using it a bit lately I think she may love this set!! and I hope she loves my card too.

The card came together quite well but not in the way I started out with , I got so far and Arggghhhh!!! I got a blob of ink and water on the front of the card, so started again, but the second time around I decided to do the card Landscape instead of the original Portrait.

I cut a strip of the Share What You Love paper and punched out a half circle using the Starburst Punch (143717) and adhered to the card blank, which is Shimmery White Card stock, added a thin strip of Glimmer Paper and cut out in black Amazing from the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (146840).

The sentiment stamped in Basic Black is from the Itty Bitty Greeting Stamp Set (146667) and lifted up on dimensionals.

I stamped the flowers onto the patterned paper first and then again onto Shimmery White Card Stock and then Stamped Flower Insert in Berry Burst Ink, I then fussy cut and lifted up using dimensional's.

I finished the card off with some Black Bakers Twine, Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and Tiny Black Faceted Dots. and a sprinkle of Wink of Stella for some added bling.

Hey Amazing Friend,... CTD#496 Color ThrowdownChallenge !

Hey Amazing Friend,...

 CTD#496 Color ThrowdownChallenge !

Hey Crafter's have you had a great weekend,  I spent mine decluttering with a little crafting too squash in there too, and today's card I am sharing was create with my fabulous friend Linda in mind as the colours from the Colour Throwdown Challenge HERE are Linda's favourite.

I set too with Pool Party, Costal Cabana, Basic Black and Shimmery White Card Stock, and the fabulous Abstract Impression Bundle (code 148348).

I started stamping with the blobs in the stamp set, inking them stamping direct to the card mat and then stamping again without reinking. The tiny circle bubbles are from the You're Inspiring Stamp set and were stamped in Costal Cabana. I did a little colour wash using the pool Party very gently over all the blobs!

I then cut the Butterly from the Springtime Impression Thinlits Dies  (146326) from the Bundle, and sponged with the Pool Party ink Pad, and then stamped the tiny bubbles in black all over randomly.

I cut the Amazing sentiment form the Celebrate You Dies, and stamped the Hey friend from the Itty Bitty greetings. and finished it all off with some Sequins and Wink of Stella.

I just know Linda will love this card.

Bye for now x

CAS(E) this Sketch #274

Case this sketch with You're Inspiring....

The card for today is for the CAS(E) this Sketch #274 HERE. A quick super simple make again as the sketch calls for it I feel,  Sometime we need a quick card we have forgotten to make, with this great sketch you can use up those scraps of patterned paper you have lying around on your desk, Whilst this is retired patterned paper you could improvise with your Brush Tip Black Marker Pen.

The Daffodil image is from the You're Inspiring Stamp Set, coloured with the Stampin Blends and the sentiment is from the new Varied Vases Stamp Set.

The Image is cut with the Stitched Framelits, and the Sentiment punched with the Classic Label Punch..

Hope you enjoyed today's make.

Bye for now do pop by soon , I have loads to share.

Sponging and Water Flicking Technique ..... Stampin Up!

Sponging and Water Flicking Technique .....   Stampin Up!

Today's card is using a fun technique of sponging onto water colour card stock and water flicking onto the dried ink.

I layered three co ordinating inks Rich Razzleberry, Blackberry Bliss and Blueberry Bushel. I chose these deep rich colours to co ordinate with a gift for a team member called Jan Brown who recently promoted to Gold Title.

Once I did an Ombre effect with the three colours, starting with Rich Razzelberry, then onto Blackberry Bliss finishing with the Blueberry Bliss, I then flicked some versamark refill fluid and chucked some Gold Embossing powder onto it.

I then used the large Letter Framelits to cut out the word Gold,  I layered the Ink piece to some Gold Mirri Card, and cut out the word Amazing from Gold Mirri too, and adhered this to the ink piece.  I just stamped part of a sentiment 'you' and adhered to the card front using dimensionals and the stuck the whole thing to fabulous new colour Gorgeous Grape.

A simple technique yet packs a wow punch!

Bye for now do pop by soon , I have loads to share.

Case the designer Global Design Project #140

Case The Designer Global Design Project #140

Hello there,
Today's card is for the the Global Design Project challenge HERE , and the challenge this week  is to CASE the Designer, and the Designer to case is the lovely Brian King,  I love Brian's style,  Simplicity at it's best I think!

I decided to Case the layout, by starting with water colour wash on the bottom half of my card mat which was Shimmery White card stock with the beautiful new Blueberry Bushel Ink from the new In colour selection from Stampin Up! and then using the wiggly line stamp from the fabbie Lilypad Lake Stamp Set again in Blueberry Bushell several times over the watercolour wash.

I stamped the little boats in versa mark and embossed in Gold and coloured in Night of Navy.

I embossed in gold the sentiment from the Varied vases stamp Set, add a little Linen Thread to finish it all off with, and then layer onto Blueberry Bushel Card Stock.

I think I am quite taken with this card, am well pleased how it turned out and I hope I have done Brian justice with it.

Inspire.Create.Challenge #019 Colour Theme...

 Inspire.Create.Challenge #019 Guest Designer.

Today I am honoured to be a guest Designer on the fabulous Inspire Create Challenge blog,  HERE and the challenge is a colour challenge, use any of the above Brand new In Colours from Stampin Up!

I chose to work with , Blueberry Bushel, Lovely Lipstick and Pineapple Punch.

This one I made for a birthday, one  of my downline team members Emma Goddard, who happens to be on the design team for Inspire.Create, but is also a Stampin Up! Artisan Team member too!! No pressure eh!!  I do hope Emma liked her card, I love Emma's watercolour backgrounds that she makes, so I thought this was right up her street..

Now my card was super inspired by a card a fellow Demo in America  called Maria Willis shared on our Stampin Up Demo page.  I just loved her Card and the technique she shared, and I so wanted to give it a go,  I firstly made one in Blue Hues for another Birthday Girl, which I shall share with you another day.

Whilst Maria used a retiring Stamp set, I chose to use the carrying over Oh So Eclectic stamp set,   I firstly stamped the flower from this set onto watercolour paper, with Memento ink, Yes, the one that you use for alcohol markers Light Grey in this case on the flowers, this is what Maria used and it bled with the water but it gave such a beautiful effect, dabbing it dry with paper towel so it don't get too muddy, as later I used the  Stampin Blends to finish the card off with,,

I then stamped some  flowers onto post it note paper so I can mask and layer up the flowers.

Once the watercolour wash was done, I put the masks back on as Maria did and flicked some black marker pen ink over the stamped images,   I also flicked some wink of Stella too, mine comes through white and I love it.  I adhered some Rhinestones and Glitter epoxy dots to finish it off. The sentiment is from the new set Stitched all around.

The stamped mat was then adhered to Blueberry Bushel Card Stock, oh this is such a gorgeous colour.

I hope I have done Maria justice and I will share her video when I share the other card in a day or so...

New Colour Combinations, Stampin Creative Blog Hop...

New Colour Combinations, Stampin Creative Blog Hop...

Hello I am Kim Fee an Independent Demonstrator from Kent/London Borders in the U.K. welcome to my blog.

It's blog hop time with the Stampin Creative Team again and we have two more Guest Designers joining us this month Ginny Harrell and Heidi Smith can not wait to see their fabulous projects or the rest of the team for that matter!

For now though I shall walk though mine,  I chose just two colours to work with, the fab new in colours Lovely Lipstick and Blueberry Bushell the colours seem to fit in with the Union Jack colours  with the Royal Wedding we had here in the U.K last week Oh how stunning was that wedding such a stunning Bride the now Duchess made.

I made a super simple card using the Brand New set called Rooted in Nature, and coupled this with the Brand New Die set Stitched Labels Framelits, here I used 3 of the dies from that set, the cross stitch, the Blueberry Banner, and the stitched circle.

For added textured I used Linen thread and co ordinating Lovely lipstick Ribbon, bth the Leaves image ad the sentiment come form the same Stamp set.

To finish, I flicked Wink of Stella across the white watercolour paper that was stamped, (I used watercolour paper as I was going to do a technique but that went out the window and didn't want to waste the cut piece) and then add 3 rhinestones, and Bobs ya uncle a card was born!!

Be sure to pop along the hop you wont be disappointed.

Global Design Project with Springtime Impressions Stampin Up!

Global Design Project with Springtime Impressions Stampin Up!

Hello there,
I wanted to share a super super simple card with you all today, One that I have made for a lovely customer of mine, she mentioned that she loved to do white on white cards, and when I saw the Springtime Impressions Thinlits I just had to make her a Thank you card using it.

I shall be entering this into this weeks Global Design Project Challenge #139  HERE, (did I mention I was a winner recently on the challenge blog with THIS card). The theme this week is Just a note!

The wow factor and focal point on this simple card is the beautiful die itself, the sentiment says it all for me, and inside says Thank you! With sentiments are form the co ordinating Stamp Set  Abstract Impressions  both this set and the dies are coming on the 1st of June, and can be purchased as a bundle as well as separately in my online shop in the link below,

I kept embellishments to a minimum on this card, as the large die cut really is enough, just add a splash of rhinestones for some bling, the banner which the sentiment is stamped on comes from another fab new set called Lakeside Framelits.

Well thats all for now, do pop by again tomorrow as it's blog hop time and there is plenty inspiration to see........

Thank you for stopping by...

Oh So Eclectic ...... Stampin' up!

Oh So Eclectic ...... Stampin' up!

Hello Crafters,
Today's card is for the Inspire. Create Challenge #17 HERE , and this week is a sketch challenge.

A great sketch, and I chose to put images where the squares are. I also took inspiration from the colours on the sketch itself, and I used the gorgeous new in colour Grapefruit Grove, its' very similar to the outgoing Peekaboo Peach , I loved that colour!!

The flower and spots are from the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set and the sentiment is from a new set in the next Annual Catty Called Stitched All Round.

I used the spots form the Eclectic set in place of the strip across the sketch and then added Black Twine as added texture.

Another super simple maker those that have little time available to create.

April Showers with Stampin Creative Blog Hop!

April Showers with Stampin Creative Blog Hop!

Welcome to this months Stampin Creative Blog Hop,  I am Kim Fee from Dartford in KENT in the UK!   We have the lovely Stampin, Up! Artisan Rhoda MacPherson joining us a guest  Hopper this month so your in for a real treat, ..

The challenge for us this month is April Showers,  Lol very apt indeed as we have now hit after all that snow and just 2 days of basking hot sunshine a deluge of rain, Oh the British weather!!!

I was a little stumped here as I wanted to use my uninked pretty Weather Together,  oh that pretty umbrella, but since it's now retiring I am going with one that has carried over from the current Spring catty, a cute one too..

I have used the bring on the Sunshine image from the A Good Day Stamp Set (which is carrying over the new Annual Catalogue) and the glass of drink too!
I made a card and a set of small note cards, and I put the note cards into a small box made using the Lots to Love Box framelits which are not carrying over so if you want that die set you better hurry it won't be around for long, you can purchase in my online shop,,

I stamped and embossed the image in Clear embossing powder and stamped another one of the image onto a post it note up by the sticky bits and made mask and then gave the image a colour wash background using Pool Party Ink..

I then coloured the images with Ink Pad and Blender Pens, I love these fellas if you like to watercolour but don't have the watercolour papers or your not keen on your results with water you can get the same effect with the blender pens and you get 3 in a packet but they can be used with various colours you just  scribble them clean, they will stain but they will be clean once you have scribbled previous ink off,..  Finish off with a piece of Pool Party Shimmer Ribbon tied in a bow!

Don't forget to hop along to the next blog check out the list below,  some fabulous inspiration is awaiting you....
In the meantime if you wish to purchase any of these items please visit my shop in the link below....

Yay You Amazing Team, Stampin Up Onstage Downline Team Members Gifts.

Yay You Amazing Team, Stampin Up Onstage Downline Team Members Gifts.

Bespoke Downline Gifts,  Simply packaged using Yay You Hostess Stamp Set.  #stampinup30

At Onstage recently, I gifted my first level a bespoke personalised mug with their full names on them , in the co ordinating colours of Lemon Lime Twist, and Blues and Purples splashed with gold spots. I had 17 first level join me this Onstage plus one for my Upline Natalie, and oh what fun we had.

In keeping with the colours I made tags using the Hostess Stamp Set Yay You, that can be earned FREE and is retiring at the end of May
.

I kept the packaging very simple as I didn't want to take away from the gift itself.

I punched circles and made a template to lay on my Stamparatus as I had some many to make, I could punch out all the circles and then stamp on them by putting the circle piece in the hole in the template and happily stamped away several using the watercolour circle from the stamp set without even thinking about placement and such.

I then used the sentiment your'e truly amazing (coz they really are , everyone of them) in versamark and then embossed in Gold embossing powder.
I layered these on to Gold mirri card cut circles and then onto a circle punched using the Starburst Punch 143717,   I used Lemon Lime Twist and Bermuda Bay for the tags.

I ordered one for myself too as I couldn't resist them.

Thanks for popping by please do pop by again..
